10th Grade HistoryCourse Description
Students will learn the history of the United States from the mid 1800s to present day America. In order to take this course, you must have completed the pre- Civil War era history. Homework Homework will be assigned upon the completion of each lecture to ensure each student has grasped the concept for the day. Test & Quiz Dates 01/09/2015 Exam 1 01/30/2015 Exam 2 02/13/2015 Exam 3 02/27/2015 Exam 4 Pop quizzes will be handed out at random so be ready. Projects There will be one GROUP Project assigned at the end of the year. It can be over any subject that we will cover in class. |
10th Grade BiologyCourse Description
An introduction to environmental science and ecology with emphasis on the interrelationships of living and nonliving things in ecosystems. Homework There will be 14 homework assignments throughout the semester. Every two weeks, a homework will be assigned. Test Dates 01/08/2015 Exam 1 01/29/2015 Exam 2 2/13/ 2015 Exam 3 2/27/ 2015 Exam 4 Projects Each student will be required to participate in the annual science fair. That project will count worth 150 points so be sure to participate! The science fair will be on Monday, January 26, so don't procrastinate! Other information The last Friday of each month will be a field trip out to the lake to examine species in the water and examine them under a microscope, so be sure to dress in the proper attire. |
